Schneider Electric appoints Kevin Morris as Senior Account Manager for Power Systems Sales in Ireland

  • Kevin will be responsible for growing the Power Systems business in Ireland, including energy infrastructure projects

  • Moving on from Bentley Systems and General Electric, Kevin brings over a decade of experience in the energy and utilities industry to his role at Schneider Electric




Maynooth, Co. Kildare, 2 February 2021 Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, has appointed Kevin Morris as Senior Account Manager for Power Systems Sales in Ireland.

Morris will play a fundamental role in growing Schneider Electric’s Power Systems business in Ireland, with a particular focus on utilities, targeted engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors, and on the renewables sector. He will be responsible for nurturing Schneider Electric’s relationships among both manufacturing facilities and end customers to effectively promote Schneider services, maximizing revenue potential.

Morris will lead the Power Systems team in Ireland to ensure the achievement of country-wide business goals. He will also lead his team in their contribution to the global Schneider Electric mission to empower all to make the most of our energy and resources, bridging progress and sustainability for all.

Morris will be tasked with supporting new and existing accounts with Schneider Electric products, systems, and services. His immediate focus will be on connected digital systems and medium-voltage (MV) products for energy distribution, EPC contractors, and renewable generators. With previous experience at Alstom, General Electric and Bentley Systems, Kevin’s diverse knowledge of the energy and renewables industry in Ireland and the wider EMEA regions ensures he can provide customers the best services that Schneider Electric has to offer. Kevin’s previous roles have included work in power generation, power network SCADA systems, motors and drives and in electric vehicles which will be helpful in developing and evolving Schneider Electric’s sales strategy.

Kevin graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, later receiving a Master’s degree from Dublin City University in the same subject.

He officially began his role as Senior Account Manager for Schneider Electric Ireland on January 5th, 2021 and will be based in the Maynooth office. ###
