ABOUT THE ROLE
Mission
The Secure Power Service Sales Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within Schneider Electrics installed base, to initiate contact, promote services offers, to be in communication with all levels of the customers organization and ensure that our offers are fully comprehended by the clients organisation. Underpin the services and commercial objectives of the local SE organisation within the Secure Power segment.
Essential Responsibilities
Initiates contact, develop, manage, and implement a commercial strategy for targeted accounts and segments within Ireland.
To actively promote our service offers within our Secure Power Installed and Targeted base of clients.
To develop robust knowledge of the full Schneider Electric services, offer based on, Life cycle management, Modernization, Digitization, Sustainability and Power management.
Ability to cross sell the SE offers
Develop working knowledge of all Services offer portfolio from other lines of business (Buildings, IT and Digital) and competently apply these to customer “pain points”
Establish and implement dynamic sales plans in accordance with Schneider Electric policies
Define a Personal Sales plan (PSP)
Understand and apply Company policy, objectives, and strategy.
Utilize Bridge Front Office (BFO) CRM Tool, capturing the opportunity data and producing reports/ forecasts in a timely manner
Provide relevant and timely information to our tendering team and have regular interactions with our FSE (field service engineers) ensuring customer focus and collaboration.
Ensure that customer issues are owned and resolved by the most appropriate owners within the business units
Provide all relevant accurate information ( both Sales and Marketing ) reporting in a timely manner as required by your line manager .
To manage and maintain customer and partner records using the appropriate company tools and policies.
To represent Schneider at Sales Events
Personal awareness of development needs in line with knowledge and skills required for the role
Actively develop core competency in line with personal development plan
To support the company initiatives and champion product competency development of another team members
Key Success Factors
Ability to persuade and influence
Technical experience within the Secure Power segment to elevate customer pain points, generate demand
Self-started, entrepreneurial mindset
Comfort with available technologies for remote communication and customer / opportunity management
Good working relationship with the services tendering team, project management team, segment leaders and account managers
Regular collaboration with FSE’s (Field Service Engineers) and operational marketing to understand the installed base and customer requirements.
Qualifications, skills, and knowledge
The successful candidate should have a technical qualification preferably at degree level in engineering and at least > 2 years sales experience with some sales experience in electrical engineering and Secure power
Electrical systems experience, distribution and protection experience, power quality
Account management skill
Social selling
