ABOUT THE ROLE
The Key Account Manager will support the company in overseeing the maintenance and acceleration of the growth of sales in Ireland. Promotion of the complete range of company products to Building / Main Contractors and Roofing Contractors.
The Key Account Manager is expected to contribute information which will help continue to grow regional revenue and market share while raising the bar on the win ratio of specifications and keeping a high standard of technical performance and feedback for product development.
You will support the enhancement of the commercial relationships with existing main contacts to maintain a consistent level of service delivery, whilst identifying further business opportunities to increase market presence.
The main focus will be to represent the company and interact fully with:
Allocated Key Accounts (Roofing Contractors)
Internal Departments
Key Stakeholders throughout the New build project cycle (Non-critical Infrastructure projects)
Key Stakeholders throughout the Refurbishment project cycle (Non-critical Infrastructure projects)
Main Contractors Design and Commercial Teams
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the regional target and any support needed to achieve targets.
Responsibility to work as part of the team to deliver the overall company target in conjunction with regional target through communication and information sharing as well as support to fellow team members, with the inclusion of Business Development.
As part of the Sales team, you will support the Marketing of Products including presentations/demonstrations, Product Literature, Direct Mail, Preparation and Presentation of Drawings
Ensuring project lists and pipelines are updated in line with the business processes.
Assisting the Field Technician(s) in terms of contentious projects, disputes or warranty questions.
Attending Sales meetings, highlighting any issues arising within the area along with any developments/research in products/technologies that could be adapted into Moy’s portfolio. This information should be passed to the Management team for review and action.
Attend relevant sponsored events on behalf of the sales team.
Identify, develop, and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including Contractors, Architects and Quantity Surveyors, negotiating and closing on major contracts.
Liaise with and enhance the working relationships with all internal customers and departments.
Identify and solve client issues strategically and in collaboration.
Speaking or presenting at conferences and events about the company’s products and services.
Any other duties associated with the sales division in the company, focusing on the relevant region to improve sales figures and efficiency year on year.
Consistently comply with all Company policies & procedures.
Fulfilling all health, safety and welfare requirements as required and immediately reporting any issues or accidents in line with Company policy.
• Attending all meetings, site visits, conferences and training courses as required.
