ABOUT THE ROLE
We are now seeking a Data Center Project Manager to join our operations in Europe. The role of an DCx Project Manager in CAI is to:
Responsible for supporting the commissioning process of data center facilities to ensure that all systems, components, and equipment operate efficiently and meet design specifications.
Conduct functional performance tests on electrical, mechanical, and other critical systems.
Verify that equipment and systems meet design specifications and regulatory standards.
Perform a project risk assessment and take appropriate control measures before starting any major testing & Commissioning.
Conduct functional performance tests on electrical, mechanical, and other critical systems.
Verify that equipment and systems meet design specifications and regulatory standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and field personnel to develop additional business for the company.
Position Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 + years’ experience in the Data Center industry. Relevant experience can substitute for education.
Relevant experience in commissioning critical systems, preferably in data center environments is advantageous.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data centers.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Familiarity with testing equipment and protocols.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to travel domestically and abroad on a regular basis
